Mangonui is the centre of the Doubtless Bay area with a warm sub-tropical climate, over 70 kms of unspoiled coastline and an abundance of safe beaches. Doubtless Bay is a holiday paradise and an ideal base for a holiday in the Northland of New Zealand.

A great wealth of Maori and European history is associated with this area.
The Mangonui Heritage Trail provides a glimpse of this past over it's 3km length. We are located next to St Andrews Church 1860 high above Mangonui offering a magnificent view of the entire harbour.

Our best recommendation is to relax on your patio or balcony and watch dolphin and orca pods, schools of kahawai and other fish, charter and commercial fishing vessels passing through our waters and the twilight races of the Mangonui Cruising Club.
